The early bird tour to Similan Islands will leave directly from the Yacht Haven in Phuket or Nam Kem Pier in Khaolak and takes about 1.5 hours to arrive at Island no 8. The early departure ensures you get there early enough to enjoy Donald Duck Bay, hike up the short trail to the Sail Rock, and take those amazing pictures from the viewpoint. The tour includes two long snorkeling breaks to explore the beautiful underwater world and a chance to see a sea turtle. The next stop will be Island no 4, where you can enjoy a picnic lunch near the beach at Honeymoon Bay and then take a small walk through a nature trail to the stunning beach at Princess Bay where you have time to relax and swim in the crystal clear waters. After, there will be one more snorkeling stop either at the famous Koh Bon or Similan Island depending on the weather conditions.

Ein schöner Blick auf die Natur Thailands

Es war eine wirklich schöne Tour. Leider waren wir erst zum Ende der Saison im Mai auf den Similan Islands, weshalb Fische und Korallen wahrscheinlich schon etwas ausgelaugt waren. Ansonsten war alles stressfrei und gut koordiniert. Die Tour ist natürlich sehr wetterabhängig, aber dafür können die Organisatoren natürlich nichts. Auf individuelle Bedürfnisse wurde eigentlich immer Rücksicht genommen und wir hatten nie das Gefühl, dass niemand mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand. Wow!

What a great day it was going on this trip. The staff were all so informative, knowledgeable and friendly. It’s so worth getting up early to get this trip and miss the crowds by a little bit as it does get busy very fast. I’ve never seen such amazing turquoise water and the visibility whilst snorkelling was great at 20 metres. Saw a wide range of fish too! After reading the not so good review on her I was unsure about this trip but don’t be put off by this review as this trip was very very very good! They cannot control the sea so if you get travel sick try and sit at the back of the boat, but no one had any problems on our trip. There was plenty of equipment to go round for everyone and food was simple but tasty. The staff were really competent, fun and kept us safe at all times.
