We had such a great day experiencing Phang Nga bay! Even with the early morning pickup - it was worth it to start with a breathtaking sunrise. Our guide was fun, energetic and had so much to tell us! It doesn't feel like you'll be tired by the end of the day but we saw so much that by the end of it we were wiped out! We didn't have a huge group and stayed away from the hoards of tourists. It was a very physical tour for sure but a truly enjoyable one! The sunrise in Phangnga Bay was absolutely breathtaking - a stunning view indeed. The limestones were impressive and the kayaking session that came with the “surprise” - laying flat in canoe as the guide peddled under a hidden narrow cave was truly an experience! Both the guides - Pum & Dey - and the driver Boy were a very organised & truly a cheeky chirpy bunch. They indeed made the trip worthier with their smiles and perky personalities. If you want a unique experience, if you want to see things that most tourists don’t get to see, if you want to get to James Bond Island before it is even open to the public, then look no further. The cost is definitely worth it and I’m glad I didn’t hesitate! Because it was low season, it was just my brother and I and the guide. We got to do and see a lot but it wasn’t too much. Going in the caves was a magical experience. Laying down on our canoe to get into the lagoon was thrilling. Of course the hike and the sunrise was stunning as well. Our 3.30am start was a shock. The drive took around 2 hours but our tour guide Pai was excellent and made sure we were looked after. The hike took around 15 minutes and was quite hard going in the dark but it was definitely worth the effort to see Phang Nga province as the sun rose. James bond island was excellent and I am glad we took the sun rise tour. We were able to see everything without the crowds. Pai was informative and spoke good English. Her and her driver made an excellent team. I would definately recommend using Phuket let's go to book any trips within Thailand.
